I’m always having conversations with people about intuition. What is our intuition? Why do we have it? Why is it useful? Once we get comfortable with it, how can we trust our own intuition? What about all those times I thought I was listening to my intuition and things went “wrong”? If I really listen to my intuition, am I even worthy of receiving ALL that information? How can I know that much, and how can I make sense of the information that I am getting?
Every spiritual practice - including yoga, meditation, and breathwork - gets us closer to understanding and confidently using our intuition as a guide.
What is your intuition telling you? With our INTUITION guiding us, how do we more clearly PERCEIVE the messages we are getting? How do we DISCERN between our own voice and the voices of others, and stay true to ourselves?
That ‘gut feeling’ we normally associate with intuition actually comes to us through all of our senses, through our bodies, through our breath. Often, our senses, our bodies, our breath tell us something and we ignore what they are saying. We allow our minds to tell us what is rational, what is logical, and what is expected of us - what we ‘should’ do in a situation. BUT…
…THE MORE WE CAN CONNECT TO OUR OWN SPIRIT, OUR OWN ESSENCE,
THE MORE WE CAN START TO TRUST OUR INTUITION AND THE GUIDANCE WE RECEIVE FROM IT,
THE MORE ACCURATELY WE CAN PERCEIVE THE INFORMATION OUR INTUITION PROVIDES TO US,
AND
THE MORE WE CAN DISCERN WHEN AND HOW TO ACT ON THAT INFORMATION....
We are now living in a world that is daily changing from what has been familiar, and that is directly confronting us with having to choose how we want to show up for ourselves and for others.
I really believe it is necessary for each of us to be able to heal, hear, and understand our intuition and inner compass in these times. It is so very important that we allow our intuition to guide us towards knowing what our role both is, and can be, to allow us to navigate this changing world in an empowered and conscious way.
Breathwork Healing…
…gives us a doorway into the highest truth of what our intuition can tell us. It gives us a practical way to connect to that part of us that is normally silenced by our incredible and intelligent minds. It allows us to create space and discernment around the choices we make. We will breathe this month to bring in more of our own essence...more of our truth.

Intuition, Perception, and Discernment through Self-Knowledge…
And a man said, Speak to us of Self-
Knowledge.
And he answered, saying:
Your hearts know in silence the secrets
of the days and the nights.
But your ears thirst for the sound of
your heart's knowledge.
You would know in words that which
you have always known in thought.
You would touch with your fingers the
naked body of your dreams.
And it is well you should.
The hidden well-spring of your soul must
needs rise and run murmuring to the sea;
And the treasure of your infinite depths
would be revealed to your eyes.
But let there be no scales to weigh your
unknown treasure;
And seek not the depths of your knowl-
edge with staff or sounding line.
For self is a sea boundless and measure-
less.
Say not, "I have found the truth," but
rather, "I have found a truth."
Say not, "I have found the path of the soul."
Say rather, "I have met the soul walking
upon my path."
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line, neither
does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of
countless petals.
