about me

_

I am a facilitator and a guide for those of you who wish to engage with practices that support you to understand all of yourself. My work is an invitation for you to experience yourself internally, and more authentically express who you are into the world.

All of the practices and work I guide you in are ways for us to open our minds and re-pattern them in ways that allow us to be more effective, more self-responsible, more self-loving, accepting and therefore more effective and potent in the world.

I really believe that when we do this inner work, we are able to create changes that not only impact us personally, but also impact our families, communities, cities, countries, and ultimately our planet.

When we bring ourselves into alignment with who we truly are, we free our minds from drama and story, and we start to experience ourselves as fully embodied, and present. We can then lead ourselves (and others) in an embodied way.

This powerful shift from leading from the body instead of the head is a concept I call ‘embodied spirit’ or ‘embodied leadership’.

What is that exactly? I see it in 3 key ways:

1) It is our ability to connect to our bodies and authentically embody and express who we are.

2) It is a feeling of being completely safe in your body, and being very present. It is the knowing that ‘I don’t need anything from anyone else, I don't feel afraid, and I am not feeling a lack of anything’.

3) It allows communication with yourself and others to be really authentic, simple, and powerful. When things become simple, and powerful, it's easier to find clarity, take action, and create the life you want.

My invitation to each of you is to get into your body, change your energy, and change your world. If every person became an embodied spirit and an embodied leader, then maybe…

…just maybe…

…there’s a chance we can change the world from the inside out.

I am an intuitive spiritual healer and I help people to find more joy, peace, and freedom in themselves.

My journey into my own healing has brought me into contact with some of the most genuine, gifted and authentic teachers and guides out there.

I learned to teach yoga with Ally Bogard and the Gaiyatri School of Yoga

I stepped into being a Breathwork Healer with David Elliott

I am a Yoga Nidra guide, walked by Jana Roemer

I am a Reiki Master Teacher (RMT), initiated by Michelle Baker and initiated into Reiki Level I and II by SPARK

I am a ThetaHealing Practitioner and Instructor, in Vianna Stibal’s ThetaHealing® Institute of Knowledge

I am a Qi Gong Instructor, taught by Bob Lowey and the Qigong Teachers Association United Kingdom

All of these people, along with Hannah Pearson, Allan Jay Santos, and many others have been my teachers, healers, mentors, coaches, guides, and allies. They have helped me to become free in ways that now allow me to help others to find their inner peace and freedom.

The lineage that stands behind me and that I bring to my work with you is an amalgamation of all of their teachings.

Whatever we end up doing together, you are held not only by me, but by all of their wisdom too.

some other official stuff…

I am a lawyer, most recently in my active practice as a Senior Associate in corporate and personal immigration, at a multinational law firm, in their London and New York offices. I am an Executive Board Member (and previously a Committee member) of the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Prior to the decade of my life as a lawyer, I worked in Sri Lanka for the UN Development Program as an Analyst in their regional gender mainstreaming programme and as a Consultant for the National Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, setting up and running the Women’s Division of their Disaster Relief Monitoring Unit following the 2004 Tsunami. I have also worked in human rights and development in Switzerland, the UK, and Somaliland for various Non-Governmental Organisations and Interest Groups.

I am lucky to have grown up in Indonesia, Haiti, Ethiopia, Nepal, and the UK and to have lived and worked in Switzerland, Sri Lanka, the UK and the US.

I have traveled to over 50 countries. I am a Third Culture Kid (TCK if you’ve come across it!) and draw on my understanding and experience of a myriad of cultures, traditions, and worlds when working towards attaining the best and highest possible outcomes for my clients.
