Reflect : Rest : Reclaim
A Healing Retreat to go Inwards and Reclaim More of Yourself
Friday 15 - Monday 18 November 2024
An opportunity for you to take some time with like-minded people, and go on a deep-dive into yourself. This 3-night Retreat is for you to reflect, rest, and reclaim more of yourself before closing out 2024.
We will gather in a small group to begin our wintering, through inquiry, reflection, and a deep-dive into practices that support and nourish you. Over the three nights of the Retreat we will create a loving space for you to open to and discover your internal world, deep connection, and rest. Gathering in mid-November with intention will allow us to use the colder weather to ‘winter’ and is an opportunity for you to experience yourself in community without your usual stories running the narrative.
This retreat will have a set structure that is designed to allow you to drop into yourself within a group setting. As such, while there will be plenty of time for you to take a moment alone if you choose to, your agreement to attend all of the group sessions throughout the weekend is an important part of this retreat.
Let’s come together to resource ourselves…to be supported, nourished, and rested

Some Additional Bits…
-
Cwm Connell, our Retreat venue is perfectly located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’s most unspoilt corner. Tucked away from roads, and in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful location, these coastal cottages are the perfect place to unwind and relax.
With stunning views of Cardigan Bay as well as the magnificent Preseli Hills you’ll find yourself quickly immersed in nature. From your cottage you can choose to follow the stream down through the woods to the little pebbly cove of Ceibwr Bay, or perhaps head along the coast path to the magnificent cliffs of Cemaes Head.
-
Seasonal and locally sourced vegetarian food will be lovingly prepared by our wonderful local chef, Tor Anderson. You will be nourished and taken care of throughout the Retreat.

There are trains to Clunderwen Rail Station, Narberth (slow train and please note this is a request stop!) and Carmarthen (fast train).
Buses run from Carmarthen and Clunderwen to Cardigan, and Cwm Connell is a short taxi ride from Cardigan.
It takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to travel from Carmarthen to Cardigan by bus, and a one-way ticket is £8.50.
It takes approximately 1 hour to travel from Clunderwen Rail Station, Narberth to Cardigan, and a one-way ticket is £6.70.
You can plan your bus journey here.
I have not used it (yet!) but there is a local taxi company in Cardigan called Home James Taxis that you can book a cab with. It's around a 15-20 minute ride from Cardigan to Cwm Connell.
-
If you are driving, Cwm Connell is 2hrs 15 mins from Cardiff, 2 hrs 45 mins from Bristol, 4 hrs from Birmingham, 4 hrs 30 mins from Manchester and 5 hrs from London.
Cwm Connell's detailed directions if travelling by car can be found here.

There are direct flights to London from most places in the world, and flights from Europe are very reasonably priced with the cheaper airlines (e.g. Ryanair, Easyjet, SAS etc). I find using sites like Kayak, Skyscanner, and Booking.com to find and compare flights can be helpful when I am planning a trip.
Cardiff and Bristol also have airports, which are closer to Cwm Connell, but you may have a stopover in London or elsewhere, and flights to these airports can be more expensive, particularly if coming from the US.
